Time is Precious.

These days I just simply never have enough time. I just don't. Right now,  I am simple exhausted too. I wish I could buy time. If only things were ever so simple. I always have somewhere/something to do and its so hard to juggle everything. Fml. I just need more time argh! Thank God that we turn the clocks one hour back tonight. I need the extra sleep for sure!!

Oceana, Oh Oceana!

Just arrived home, with a maximum of 1 hour sleep within the last 48 hours. To be honest, my mind and body isn't that tired just yet, but I know I must keep myself busy to not allow myself to fall asleep. I need to go bed at a normal time damnit!

Apart from that, I had a wonderful time at Oceana with all my girls yesterday. From the start of the journey to Kingston (which was a big, fat joke) to getting ready at my girl's place in her halls, crazy antics at the club, crazy talk at the end of the night with everyone else and the search for toilet roll back at halls (cringe haaa). And these were just SOME of the crazy things happened.......let's just say, it was one hell of a night! One to remember for sure, even with the dry spots here and there during the night (mainly due to the crap music from time to time). Just a word of thought to myself: Cooksham? Cookram? Whatever his name is (I kind of forgot haha) - Thank you for the ride, and thank you for whoever is up there that made sure we came back in one piece too hahaha.

Everything is okay.

It seems like everything is looking bright. I'm relieved and happy. Especially now I can party freely without the guilt of having a good time. Plus, I'm out partying with all my favourite girls tonight, which is rare for everyone to come out to play with uni and different timetables. I cannot wait! Let the night begin!

Folding my....er panties?

Yes that's right, I have officially gone mad lol. I saw this really cool way of storing and folding your underwear....which is actually way more efficient in space. Trust me. I'm not going to post a tutorial, here is the Youtube link from where I learnt this neat trick =P Click here. But here's the turn out:

Sausage shaped underwear hahahaha. The good thing about this is that it doesn't fall apart if you throw it in the air or anything. And it takes roughly 12 seconds to fold each one for me (I timed myself, I know I'm sad ha) And it's super efficient with space too. Hopefully I'll keep this up, but for the mean time, I have cutely folding underwear! lmao.

Big girls don't cry.

Well it seems like I'm still a little girl really. I might be 19 years of age, but damn I'm still a cry baby at heart. Just went to visit my porpor at the hospital, and even though she is actually getting alot better, it just made me quite emotional to see her helpless on her bed. The sight of her swollen and very bruised looking hands was what set me off. I don't actually think her hands are bruised, but its her blood? I don't know...but it made me teary. Very teary. Tomorrow I plan to visit her again with the sis and cousin to feed her lunch. Need to be there on time, afternoon so we definitely cannot let her down. At least things are starting to look up =)

VERY simple DIY.

Remember when I posted about purchasing some shower rings from Amazon the other day? Well they finally arrived, and well, if anyone is interested here's what I used them for!

Ta-da! I basically used each ring to hold each scarf I own and attached it on a wooden hanger. So cool huh?!? So then it takes less space in my cupboard and allows me to choose what scarf I want to use for my outfit, instead of folding them into one pile and rummaging through the pile everytime I want to pick out a scarf to wear. Such a simple and easy idea. Although, I think I need to purchase a bigger diameter ring for my thicker scarfs such as my snood. For now, it'll just have to hang over the hanger. And I know some people might say you don't actually need the rings and can just hang each scarf over the wooden hanger, but TRUST ME. Doing that actually takes alot of space on the hanger, thus making it look very messy and untidy. Especially for the thicker scarfs. It just looks better this way, try it and you'll see what I mean ;) And one last thing I got myself on Amazon..............................................

A MONEY SAVING BOX!!!

I need one, trust me. It doesn't allow me to open it unless I smash it with a hammer or something lol. I'm going to try deposit say, £20 a week? I haven't fully decided the amount just yet, but hopefully this way it will force me to save money. I know it's for my own good. I'm going to open it next year, and HOPEFULLY it will have lots and lots of money for me to spend for a holiday. Let the saving commence! Wooooooooooooo!

Healthy eating...through the post!

The other day, my dear friend Lisa pulled out a slim package out of her school bag whilst in the library, for which inside contained a cardboard box containing 4 different small packages of well, healthy snacks! It looked just like this:

"Graze" - is an enterprise which basically sends the customer a box of fresh healthy snacks, through the post and you just tell them how often you want them to send it to you. Quite a neat idea for the healthy conscious eaters out there, especially for those who don't have time to go out to buy these goods. Downside, it is £3.29 a box (inc delivery) which, for a student like me  is still a tad too expensive for my liking. Even still, a very cool idea, and there range of food is amazing! Lots and lots of choice. So for those who might try to go the healthy way just before Christmas, maybe this is a way forward? My friend Lisa did give me the mini box of "40g of pineapple raisins, jumbo raisins & green raisins" (Thank you by the way!) for which, I got to admit was really fresh and YUM. Maybe if I'm feeling slightly richer then I'll sign up to this lol.

Amazon findings.

Initially I was browsing on Amazon for a good pair of speakers. I was just about to purchase a Logitech one for £45 but then, with abit more thought I decided not to go ahead and buy it. Why? Well, I don't exactly NEED speakers, my laptop ones is capable enough. I just WANT them - Big difference. Plus, this means more money being spent, for which I am trying to SAVE money instead. Good girl I am huh?! haha. But of course, I just couldn't close the thought of not buying ANYTHING, so I purchased two very useful and cheap things that I need; Shower curtain rings and a money box. I'll show you guys what I'll be doing with my shower curtains - with abit of DIY and it will transform into something very cool! Just you wait guys! =D And of course, a money box to save for a planned and very much talked about holiday with my wonderful girlfriends. (Planning quite a few different holidays in fact hahahaha).

Whilst browsing , I did find some very peculiar novelty items that will hopefully amuse you guys just as much as it did for me. Enjoy!

Every girlfriend I've got in my life are all unique in every single way and I love them for each quality they have (however cliché and cheesy it sounds but it's true =P)

Even though some of them I don't have as much contact as I would've like but that's just life. Everyone has their own busy timetable. Different schools, and also we all have a few different social circles too which I think is totally healthy. But this should't change your friendship in any way. In fact, abit of distance can show how strong your friendship really is. Lets just say, I feel so blessed to have such wonderful friends in my life right now that I just wanted to say to y'all (and you know who you are!) a very big THANK YOU. And you know what, I wholesomely wish every other girl in the world to have at least one girlfriend just like one of mine to understand how I'm feeling. A lucky, plucky girl.

We just got a call from the doctors, and porpor has gone back to the theatre due to heavy bleeding. I'm praying to god that everything is okay. Mum's really worried and everything is not feeling too good at all...

I hate feeling like this. =(

Porpor conditions has stabilised. Although she has lost all sense of touch and very poor eyesight. Still alive.

Hmm...

So my mum just came back from the hospital and the first thing she does is goes to the bag of rice and pours some in the rice cooker. I'm guessing she is making another round of congee for my porpor. Currently it is 1:24am...so that mean's my mum have to be up and ready and be at St Thomas hospital by 7:30am max (as my porpor is used to having breakfast at this time.)

Poor mum. With all my aunties and uncles hectic schedule of just work, work and work (well more like takeaway, takeaway and takeaway) it just makes everyone's schedule alot tighter to fit in the care for our dear porpor. But you know what, its all worth it, because it just shows how much love there is for her and she deserves it all. Although... I just can't wait for Aimee's mum to come back from Canada. The perfect housewife, (and the one with the most time in her hands) she'll definitely lift the load alot with the care that our porpor needs. Plus, I think porpor would prefer her food dishes (no offence mum) haha. No but seriously, Aimee's mum/my dai yi, her cooking is mindblowing. No joke.

Everything here (Sesame balls, Chinese pizza and cheung fung) all made my talented aunty. As you can see, the chinese pizza was just TOO good it went down just really fast! Haha. Side note, I just wish my porpor will get well sooooooooooon so then she can "hurry back home and play mahjong with the family" - as V's mum said. And you know what, I think she would want that more than anything. Let's just hope. =)

Talking about fashion, there is somebody that I really like to introduce you guys too...and that is my beautiful, younger cousin ;
Aimee Loi - A true fashionista.

Only a tender age of 16, yet she has already developed a unique and quirky fashion sense. And believe me, I am not just saying this just because she is family. Not gonna lie, her sister does works at head office for Topshop, so she did get a push in the right direction for fashion. But now, her style is blossoming, fast too. Just check out her blog and you will LOVE what you see. What I most admire about her is her confidence. It's not the usual mainstream style so it may not be up to your taste. But I honestly believe she can pull the look of. Don't underestimate her because of her young age, because trust me, she know's what she's doing.

Fashion ; is constantly changing and can be weird, wacky and well, let's just say not everyone understands it. I don't consider myself to be a fashionista but to say the least, I know how to dress myself. Now, here's a question for y'all REAL fashionista's out there. Would you buy and wear these tights for yourself?

No she did not forget to shave. She is wearing a pair of tights, MADE to look like she hasn't reached out for her razor in months. Retailing at $22.50, I really don't understand the concept of this. Plus, who on earth will pay that much money to gain this look. I mean, why not just grow your own leg hair if you DID want this look, but for free instead! Has the world gone mad? Someone tell J crew to shoot himself. And you know what I find even more disappointing? The fact that Net-A-Porter even agreed to sell these tights online for us Britons who wants a piece of this. Are they serious?

Yeah. Well that's the sounds I am constantly hearing, ever since I got home from clubbing."Diiiiiiiiiiiiinnggg". It's been over 24hours now and the buzzing noise still hasn't gone away. "Superwomen"

Talking about superwomen, someone that does pop in my head is: my mum.
Just had a brief, one to one conversation over our usual early dinner. Let's just say I cannot wait till next year when both me AND my sis heads to uni, then that's one major thing that she can tick of her life list. So then, I'll know a huge weight would be lifted of her shoulder and she can now only need to look out for my pesky little brother. Things are going to be tough over the next year. Added stress, less time, more work AND to deal with some false rumours lately. She did it once when she was young, and she can do it again even with a wiser age.

Here's to my mum, a true superwomen.

Personal Achievements.

Just read a recent post from my dear friend K, it also made me realised and think about my own, personal academic career. Cut the story short, things didn't exactly go to plan from what I thought would happen. But you know, I've realised that to overcome these I just have to work harder, and take action and not actually just say it.

This might sounds silly, but in order for me to be productive in my work, I actually have to maintain and tidy my bedroom. Once EVERYTHING is organised to my liking, then I feel comfortable starting my work. No idea why, that's just me. (That's probably why I'm so obsessed with organising my stuff). Right now, my bedroom is almost to my satisfaction. My plans for the rest of the afternoon; short nap, organise once more then tweak my personal statement. Hopefully should be sending it off by next week. WOO!

Also, I am slowly catching up with ALL the work from Economics. I plan to do exceedingly well in this particular subject, so not only am I doing all the classwork but I am/plan to continue do the extra work/ research/extra revision notes and exam papers to achieve this. Like K said, "We're Superwomen!".

In terms of university choices, I plan to live out in halls for first year, maybe in London or just outside (ish) and I've got to admit, it won't be a very high ranked Uni for sure like LSE or UCL LOL (I'll leave that for my little brother ha). I just want to live an average university social lifestyle, with a decent degree but to be able to afford my materialist needs at the same time.
Too much to ask for? Well maybe the last bit ha.

Let me try leave this blog post on a positive note....

I should hopefully be making my way to the phone shop tomorrow! Even if my iPhone 4 is not in stock, depending on how long the waiting list is, if it's too long then I promise myself I'll just get the iPhone 3 instead. Just any smartphone is better than my Sony Ericsson right?!

It'll be a joyful day once I can proudly announce I own a smartphone lolololololol.

Storage issues.

I am always looking for different and the most efficient ways to store my things and organise my room. The layout of my room is so awkward due to the stairway that links to my sister's room. Plus, my double sized bed doesn't help with the issue either, it takes so much space in my bedroom!

All things aside, I've recently discovered a whole range of products that Muji sell online. I swear they don't have half of the things in the store! Shame the muji website won't allow me to copy the images on here so I can't show you guys the few things that have caught my eye.

This is the exact storage box that I WANT from Muji. You can customise the size of each compartment which makes life so much easier when sorting out my makeup. Of course I don't have even as half as much makeup as Temptalia, but I know over time my collection will grow. Another thing that I want is ANOTHER jewellery holder, this exact one in fact:

I can hang the insane amounts of dangly/loop earrings I own whilst store my studs, rings and other accessories at the bottom. Plus, each segment spins around, making life much easier when choosing what earring to wear. So cool huh?! Not to mention it is super cute! I WANT. But of course, I must compromise on my money, especially when I am in dying need of a new phone. I promise to myself, I NEED to use my money wisely and spend my next wage on the iPhone 4. I HAVE to get a new phone, no matter what.

You know its a sad time...

When you have the knowledge that someone in your family is going to pass away. Especially when themselves know it too.
I know its part of life, but sometimes, I just wished my por por would be able to live long enough till I get married. So instead of already giving my mum two gold rings for when my sister and I do finally get hitched, she can present them to me herself, when that time does comes.
